The questions we hear every week
If any of this sounds familiar, this is built for you.
Part Sourcing
"Which sheet metal part actually fits my repair, and where do I buy it?" We'll tell you the right part, the right supplier, and what to avoid.
Repair Guidance
Working with a shop already, or planning to do it yourself? We'll walk through the approach, sequence, and what to watch for before metal gets cut.
Pre-Purchase Evaluation
Looking at a car? Send photos and we'll give you an honest read on the damage and condition — not an appraisal, an evaluation of whether it's worth pursuing.
Session options
Buy the session you need and you're on the calendar — or if you're not sure which one fits, send us a request first and we'll recommend one.

What this is — and isn't
✓ What you're paying for
- An experienced tech's honest read on damage, repairs, or parts
- A straight answer on whether a repair — or a car — is worth pursuing
- Time with someone who does this work day to day
✕ What it isn't
- Not a formal appraisal or a certified inspection
- Not a guarantee about a repair's outcome or a vehicle's condition
- Not a substitute for an in-person mechanical inspection before you buy
A few common questions
My vehicle is already at another shop. Can you still help?
Yes — plenty of people book a session to get a second opinion on a repair another shop has quoted, or to talk through a plan before authorizing the work. Send us photos and whatever the other shop has told you.
I'm planning to do the repair myself. Is this for me?
That's one of the most common reasons people book. We'll walk through the part, the sequence, and the mistakes to avoid — the same way we'd brief it internally.
Do you guarantee the vehicle I'm looking at is a good buy?
No. We're not offering an appraisal or a guarantee — we're giving you an experienced technician's honest read on the photos and information you send. For anything you're about to buy, we'd still recommend an in-person inspection.
What if I don't know how long a session I need?
Pick "Not sure yet" on the request form. Tell us what you're trying to figure out and we'll recommend a length when we follow up.
Stop guessing. Talk to someone who's done it before.
Buy your session now, or send us a request first if you're not sure which one you need.
