Which vehicles do you carry parts for?
Air-cooled Volkswagen from 1946 to 1979 and air-cooled Porsche from 1950 to 1989. That covers the Beetle, Super Beetle, Bus and Transporter, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and Thing on the VW side, and the 356, 911, 912 and 914 on the Porsche side.
How do I know a part will fit my car?
Start from the year range for your model above — every collection here is organised by stock vehicle, which is the most honest starting point we can give you. If a previous owner changed the floorpan, the transmission or the rear suspension, the year alone won't settle it. Work through the fitment lookup or call the parts line and tell us what's been modified.
What if the part I need isn't listed on the site?
Call the parts line on (657) 438-7002 or come by the shop. We carry more than what's listed online, and a lot of German hardware gets restored in-house rather than listed as a catalogue item.
Can I talk to someone who has actually built one of these cars?
Yes — that is the whole point of the parts counter here. The parts department grew out of the fabrication and restoration side of the shop, so the person answering the phone has turned the wrench. We'd rather spend ten minutes talking you out of the wrong part than process the return three weeks later.
