Eastwood Intergrip Panel Clamp Set — 8 Piece, 0.040" Butt Weld Gap | Universal

Butt welding two panel edges only works if the gap is right and the surfaces are in the same plane. Too tight and the weld won't penetrate; too wide and you're filling a trench. These small clamps hold both edges flush to each other and set a fixed 0.040 in gap — the gap butt welding actually wants — so you lay less weld and grind a great deal less afterwards.
