The EMPI 98-4001-B front brake drum is a direct replacement for the original front drum on 1968–1977 Type 1 Beetles with ball-joint front ends and stock drum brakes. It carries the standard 4 x 130mm lug pattern and M14 x 1.5 wheel-stud threads, and fits over the stock front wheel cylinder and brake shoes.

This drum is for the Standard Beetle only — it does not fit the Super Beetle.
