Topline Super Low Kit with Sway Bar — 1½"–5" Drop for VW Super Beetle 1971–1973
The Super Low kit offers the most drop Top Line has ever offered. Revised snap-ring adjustment grooves on the strut give anywhere from 1-1/2" to a full 5" of drop (71-73 models) — the kit to choose if you're staying with 15" wheels.
It works with your original stock springs, or with optional Sport+ springs for an improved ride. A Flip-It! tie rod relocating kit eliminates any body modification, and oil-filled strut inserts and closing nuts complete the package.
Vehicle Fitment
- VW Super Beetle: 1971–1973, front suspension

Frequently Asked Questions
- How much can I lower my car with this kit? Revised snap-ring adjustment grooves give anywhere from 1-1/2" to a full 5" of drop on 1971–1973 models.
- Does it work with my stock springs? Yes—it works with your original stock springs, or with optional Sport+ springs for an improved ride.
- Is a 5-inch drop suitable for daily driving? At a 5" drop, camber falls in the 1–2° negative range, so 4"–5" settings are recommended only for occasional street, autocross, or show use, and you should expect some additional tire wear.
