VW Rear Torsion Raise & Gusset Kit | Beetle & Ghia Ride Height up to 3" | 1/4" Steel

Raise the rear of your classic Volkswagen up to 3 inches with a clean, strong, weld-in solution. This Torsion Raise & Gusset Kit re-indexes your rear torsion housing for added ride height while reinforcing the chassis — perfect for off-road builds, Baja Bugs, and lifted street cars that need clearance without sacrificing strength.

The main plate is CNC-cut from 1/4" steel and ships with four gussets to triangulate and stiffen the area around the raise, so your new ride height holds up to real-world abuse.

Vehicle Fitment

  • VW Beetle (Type 1): Swing-axle and IRS rear suspension
  • VW Karmann Ghia: Type 1 chassis

Key Features & Benefits

  • Off-Road and Street Ready: Built for Baja Bugs, sand cars, and lifted cruisers that need clearance without giving up strength.
