This kit is for the early swing axle rear suspension (1958-1967 Beetle). For 1968+ Beetles with IRS (Independent Rear Suspension), use the IRS-specific rear kit — 22-6155-B (Black) or 22-6155-R (Red). The two rear configurations are NOT interchangeable.
