EMPI 69mm Forged Stock Crankshaft — Air-Cooled VW Type 1, 1200–1600cc (00-8119-0)

Every rebuild starts with the crank, and on a stock-displacement Type 1 the 69mm forged crankshaft is the foundation you want under a fresh motor. This is EMPI's 69mm forged stock-stroke crank (00-8119-0) on standard VW journals — forged steel, not cast, so it holds up to hard street use where a cast replacement can let go.
