Short answer: A stock-height VW Super Beetle (1973–1979) uses two EMPI 97-4002-0 front strut inserts and two Bilstein 24-006347 / EMPI 97-4005-0 rear shocks. This kit is all four, matched as a set, for 10% less than buying them one at a time.
