Precise crank-position signal for your EFI or crank-fire Type 1 build. This Crank Trigger Wheel Kit is made for CMI Precision Machining 5.25" and 6.75" billet crank pulleys (Type 1). Manufactured by The Dub Shop from 304 stainless steel, the 36-1 tooth trigger wheel mounts to the back of the CMI pulley using the supplied hardware and the pulley's pre-drilled and tapped mounting holes. It includes the Hall-effect crank sensor, a stainless sensor mounting bracket and a DTM harness connector, making it a strong fit for performance builds, race engines and EFI conversions where precise timing control is critical.

Vehicle Fitment
- Fits CMI 5.25" crank pulleys (5.25" kit, part 2513) or CMI 6.75" crank pulleys (6.75" kit, part 2514). The pulley is sold separately.
- Air-cooled VW Type 1 engines: Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 1-powered Bus, Thing, Baja Bug, dune buggies and sand rails.
- Requires modification of the engine breast plate tin to install the crank sensor.

A pull-up resistor (input to signal) is required on some applications: 5V 1k, 9V 1.8k, 12V 2.4k, 16V 3k, 24V 3k. With the Holley Terminator X, a pull-up resistor is NOT required when a 12-volt supply is used.
Which Kit Do I Need?
- Match the kit to your CMI crank pulley diameter: 5.25" pulley = 2513; 6.75" pulley = 2514.
- This kit is designed around CMI's pre-drilled and tapped pulleys. It is not listed for other brands' pulleys.

Installation Notes
- Modification to the engine breast plate tin is required to allow installation of the crank sensor.
- Blue thread lock is recommended on the six trigger wheel mounting screws.
- Confirm your ECU's trigger settings for a 36-1 wheel and set the sensor air gap and timing offset per your ECU instructions.
