The King Performance Blackout Pulley Kit is a complete 6.7" top-and-bottom pulley set for the air-cooled VW Type 1 engine, polished and then deep black anodized for a stealth look. The spoked 6.7" crank pulley is built on King's frenched steel hub, and the six hub bolts can be ordered in stainless or black PVD titanium to keep the look consistent.
This listing is the standard kit: stainless hub bolts and stock hub. Black PVD titanium hub bolts or the 1.750" sand-seal hub are available by special order — contact us for a price.

Installation Notes
Shim the alternator pulley until the belt runs straight and correctly tensioned. The bonus belt is King's size recommendation; confirm fit on your engine. King recommends red high-strength thread locker and 80 ft-lb on its crank pulley bolts. The belt drives the cooling fan, so keep your charge light working. Black anodizing will fade over time with heat and sunlight; this is normal.
