King Performance Titanium Flat Washers — 8mm and 10mm ID, Pack of 20
Upgrading to titanium bolts and nuts and then putting a zinc-plated steel washer under them is a false economy: the washer is the first thing to rust, stain the paint and seize to the joint. King Performance titanium flat washers finish the job. They are the same corrosion-proof material as King's titanium hardware, they weigh far less than steel, and the black PVD version matches King's black bolts and nuts for a uniform look across the car.

- 8mm ID x 16mm OD, Raw — for M8 bolts and studs, natural titanium finish.
- 8mm ID x 16mm OD, Black PVD — the same 8mm washer with a black PVD coating.
- 10mm ID x 22mm OD, Raw — for M10 hardware, with a wider 22mm bearing face.
Vehicle fitment
These are universal flat washers. They fit any air-cooled Volkswagen — Beetle, Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Bus / Type 2, Type 3 and Thing — plus dune buggies, Baja Bugs and sand rails, anywhere an 8mm or 10mm bolt needs a flat washer. Pair the 8mm size with King's M8 x 1.25 titanium bolts and nuts.

Installation notes
- Use anti-seize on titanium threads and under the washer face where it bears on steel.
- Torque the fastener to the specification for the bolt and the part being clamped — the washer does not change the torque figure.
- Sheet-metal joints such as fenders are easily distorted; tighten evenly by hand tools.
