King Performance Titanium 12-Point Bolts for Spring Plate Retainers — M10 x 1.5 x 35mm (Pack of 8)
If you have gone to the trouble of fitting billet spring plate retainers, the last thing you want holding them on is a handful of plated steel bolts that rust in the first wet winter. This pack of eight hot-forged Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) 12-point flanged bolts is King Performance's matched hardware for its spring plate retainers — lighter than steel, rust-proof, and finished to match the rest of King's titanium chassis kit.
Fitment
- Made for King Performance spring plate retainers, including our King Spring Plate Bearing Retainers (CH13) and King Spring Plate Retainer Kit with Bronze Bushings (CH14).
- Those retainers are listed for the rear torsion-bar VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia — see each retainer listing for its exact fitment.
- Using different retainers or stock covers? Check your thread and bolt length against the specs below, or ask us before you order.
Key Features
- Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V): the aerospace alloy King uses across its titanium range.
- Hot forged with rolled threads: rolled threads are formed rather than cut, keeping the grain flow intact at the root of the thread.
- 12-point flanged head: compact head with a built-in flange that spreads the clamp load across the retainer face.
- Pack of 8 — King sells them in eights for the retainers.
- Never rusts, so the retainers can be removed cleanly at the next suspension service.

Installation Notes
- Always use anti-seize on titanium threads (King's instruction). Dry titanium can gall in steel or aluminum threads.
- Tighten the bolts evenly in a cross pattern so the retainer seats flat against the spring plate bushing.
- Use hand tools and a torque wrench; follow the torque figure supplied with your retainers or the factory spec for the location.
