LAT Red High Strength Thread Lock (50 ml)
Some fasteners should never back out: the ones you can't reach again without pulling the engine, or the ones that shake loose on a buggy after a hard run. LAT Racing Oils' red high-strength thread lock is made to permanently lock fasteners, and it is the thread locker King Performance sells.
Where to use it
Use red thread lock on bolts, studs and nuts that stay installed for the life of the assembly. It works on any vehicle, including air-cooled VW engines, transaxles and chassis, dune buggies and sand rails. For anything you remove at every service, choose a medium-strength (blue) product instead, because red is designed to stay put.

How to Use
- Clean the threads of both parts and let them dry. Oil and old thread locker weaken the bond.
- Apply a few drops to the male threads where the nut or hole will engage.
- Assemble and torque to the fastener's normal specification.
- Leave the joint undisturbed through the 10-15 minute fixture time, and longer before heavy loading.
- Keep the cap on the bottle and store it out of direct sun.
