The real thing, made in Spain. The 44 IDF is the carburetor most dual-carb air-cooled VW builds are tuned around, and this is a genuine Weber 44 IDF from Weber's Spanish factory, supplied through Redline, not an overseas copy. Use it to replace a worn IDF, to swap out a clone that will not hold a tune, or as the start of a new dual-carb setup.
This listing is for one carburetor. A dual-carb Type 1 engine needs two, plus intake manifolds, linkage and air cleaners (see related items below).

Installation & Tuning Notes
New Webers ship with base jetting and should be jetted for your engine's displacement, cam, exhaust and altitude. Balance and synchronize both carbs on a dual setup after installation. We are happy to talk jetting before you order: tell us your engine combination.

Will it bolt on to my stock engine? Not by itself. It needs IDF intake manifolds and linkage.
