This is the real thing: a one-piece forged OTTO FUCHS wheel, made in Germany and imported through the official US distributor. The Retro 19x11 ET51 is the wide rear for a modern 5-lug 911 or mid-engine Porsche, for owners who want the Fuchs look on 19s, forged rather than cast. Part numbers: FR191105305171S (silver) and FR191105305171B (satin black).
Size: 19x11, ET51 = 8 in backspacing (8.01 in), 5x130
Special order
Most sizes are in US stock and ship in about 5–10 business days once we confirm stock. If your size or finish isn't in US stock, it can be backordered and imported from OTTO FUCHS in Meinerzhagen, Germany, where these wheels are forged — typically 8–10 weeks.
US stock as of Nov 5, 2026 — Silver: in stock · Satin black: in stock
Please call (657) 438-7002 to confirm stock and lead time before ordering.
Price is per wheel. A set of four is 4 × the price shown: $10,019.80 for four at $2,504.95 each. This is a rear wheel, so most orders are two of these plus two 19x8.5 ET56 fronts.
Genuine Fuchs, from the company that made the original
These wheels are made by OTTO FUCHS, the family-owned German forging company founded in 1910 in Meinerzhagen, Germany — the same company that created the original Fuchs wheel for Porsche. The five-spoke forged aluminum wheel debuted on the 1967 Porsche 911S, the first lightweight forged wheel fitted to a production car and about 3 kg (6.6 lb) lighter per corner than the steel wheel it replaced. It became the signature wheel of the classic 911 and 930, and OTTO FUCHS still forges it today.
The Fuchs Evolution (15" and 16") keeps the original design in the original sizes for classic 911s, 912s and 930s. The Fuchs Retro (17" to 20") brings the same look to later Porsches with bigger brakes. Every wheel we sell is new production, forged by OTTO FUCHS in Germany and imported through the official US distributor. Not a replica, and not a used vintage wheel.
Features
- One-piece forged aluminum, made by OTTO FUCHS in Germany. Forged, not cast, and not a reproduction.
- Fuchs Retro: the classic Fuchs design in 17- to 20-inch sizes, at the high offsets the water-cooled 911, Boxster and Cayman need.
- Two finishes: Silver (FR191105305171S: silver anodized center with satin black spoke windows and a silver anodized lip) or Satin Black (FR191105305171B: satin black center with a silver anodized lip).
- Anodized lip on both finishes, so there is no paint or clear coat on the lip to chip.
- Hub-centric 71.5 mm center bore that locates on the Porsche hub, so the wheel centers on the hub and not on the lug seats. No hub rings needed on a 5x130 Porsche.
- 5x130 bolt pattern.
- What's in the box: wheel only. Center cap, lug bolts and valve stem are sold separately; ask and we will quote the right hardware with your wheels.
- OE-quality fit for the confirmed cars listed under Fitment, at the offset OTTO FUCHS specifies.
Fitment
Rear axle only, on 5-lug (5x130) hubs. Center-lock cars cannot run it. Tire and spacer figures are from OTTO FUCHS.
- CONFIRMED (rear): Porsche 997 Carrera and 997 Turbo, 2005–2012. Tire: 305/30 ZR19.
- CONFIRMED (rear): Porsche 991, 2012–2019. Tire: 285/35 ZR19, Michelin Pilot Super Sport only.
- CONFIRMED (rear, with spacer): Porsche 981 Boxster and Cayman, 2013–2016. Tire: 285/35 ZR19 with a 10 mm minimum spacer.
- CONFIRMED (rear, with spacer and possible modification): Porsche 987 Boxster and Cayman, 2005–2012. Tire: 295/30 ZR19. A 13 mm spacer is required, and the rear arch may need modification.
- NOT CONFIRMED: Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman (2017 on). Listed by the US distributor, and a dealer has reported it on a 718 GT4 rear with a 13 mm spacer, but OTTO FUCHS has not published tire or spacer data. Call us to check your car.
- NOT CONFIRMED: 964, 993, 996 and 986. Not in the OTTO FUCHS fitment list for this size. Call us to check your car.
- Not for: 1965–1989 911, 912, 930 and 914-6. The ET51 offset and 11-inch width are built for the modern cars above; see the 15- and 16-inch Fuchs Evolution wheels instead.
- Does NOT fit as delivered: 356, 914 (4-cylinder), 924, 944 and air-cooled VW. Different bolt pattern or offset. Call us to check your car.
Spacers listed above are sold separately and need longer lug bolts.
Pairs with: the Fuchs Retro 19x8.5 ET56 front.
Not sure what your car needs? Send us your VIN or a photo of the back of your current wheel and we will check fitment before we order. Parts and fitment: (657) 438-7002.

Offset and backspace, in plain terms
Offset (ET) is the distance in millimeters from the wheel's centerline to the face that bolts to the hub; ET51 puts that face 51 mm outboard of center. A higher ET pulls the wheel in toward the strut and brake; a lower ET pushes it out toward the fender. Backspace is the same idea measured in inches, from the mounting face to the inner lip: 8 in (8.01 in) on this wheel. On an 11-inch rear, get either number wrong and you hit the strut, the arch, or both. More in our wheel fitment guide and the wheel book.
Shipping and returns
Each wheel ships in its own box by insured UPS Ground with a signature required. Shipping is calculated per wheel at checkout. Fuchs wheels are not part of the $250 free-shipping offer. Local pickup in Orange, CA is free.
Shipping per 19-inch wheel: California $119, West (AZ, ID, NV, OR, UT, WA) $135, Mid-US $169, East Coast $189, Alaska and Hawaii $349. For Canada, Puerto Rico or APO addresses, call us for a quote.
Special-order wheels can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or wrong. Mounted wheels can't be returned. Call us before ordering if you're unsure of fitment.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do genuine Fuchs Retro wheels fit a Porsche 997? Yes — the 19x11 ET51 Fuchs Retro is confirmed for the rear of the Porsche 997 Carrera and 997 Turbo (2005–2012) on a 305/30 ZR19 tire, with no spacer required at the specified offset.
- Are Fuchs wheels forged or cast? Every Fuchs wheel we sell is one-piece forged aluminum, made by OTTO FUCHS in Meinerzhagen, Germany — the same company and process as the original 1967 911S wheel. Forging produces a denser, stronger structure than casting at a lower rotating weight.
- What tire size goes on a Fuchs Retro 19x11 rear wheel? OTTO FUCHS specifies 305/30 ZR19 for the 997 rear and 285/35 ZR19 (Michelin Pilot Super Sport) for the 991. The 987 rear requires a 295/30 ZR19 with a 13 mm spacer. Confirm with your tire shop before ordering.
- What front wheel pairs with the 19x11 ET51 Fuchs Retro rear? The matching front is the Fuchs Retro 19x8.5 ET56 (FR190855305671S/B). Together they form the staggered 19-inch set for 997, 991, 981 and 987 Porsches.
- Do I need hub rings to mount Fuchs wheels on a Porsche? No — the Fuchs Retro 19x11 has a 71.5 mm hub-centric center bore that seats directly on the Porsche hub. No hub rings are required on any 5x130 Porsche application.
- How much does the 19x11 Fuchs Retro weigh? The Fuchs Retro 19x11 ET51 weighs 25.36 lb (packed 31 lb per box). For a forged 19-inch wheel in this width, that is a strong weight advantage over cast alternatives in the same size.
