What's Included
- One adjustable aluminum push rod tube with center O-ring.
Not Included
- End seals (two per tube)
- Pushrods
- Valve cover gaskets
Why It Matters
A leaking push rod tube drips oil onto the heater boxes. You get smoke, an oil smell in the cabin and an oily engine bay. With stock tubes the only real fix is to pull the cylinder head.
An adjustable tube collapses so you can fit it with the head still on. The threaded body extends to seat against new end seals, and the center O-ring seals the joint. Many owners use them for a fast repair on the road or at home.
Installation Notes
- Remove the valve cover, rocker shaft and the pushrod for the leaking tube.
- Pull out the old tube and clean both seal bores.
- Fit new end seals on the new tube.
- Collapse the tube, slide it into place, then extend it until it seals firmly at both ends.
- Refit the pushrod and rockers, set the valve lash, and check for leaks once hot.
- We do not publish torque values here; use the factory workshop manual (Bentley) for your vehicle.
