What's Included

- Control arm bushings
- Alignment
Why It Matters
On the Super Beetle the camber is set with an eccentric bolt at the inner control arm. Rusted or seized bolts make alignment impossible, and a worn bolt lets camber drift, which wears tires on the edges.
When you replace control arm bushings, new camber bolts make it much easier to get a correct alignment.
JP Group is a Danish maker of replacement parts for classic Volkswagens and Porsches. Its parts are sold under the JP Group, Dansk and Classic names, and EMPI is its US distributor. Washburn's Metal in Orange, California lists each JP part with its VW or Porsche OE number and its JP Group reference, so you can check it against your old part, your parts book or the stamp on the original before you order. If you are not sure whether this part fits your car, send us your year, model, chassis number and engine code and we will check it for you before it ships.
Installation Notes
- Mark the position of the old bolt before removing it, so the alignment starts close.
- Clean the threads and use a new self-locking nut.
- Tighten to the factory value from a service manual.
- Have the alignment checked after fitting.
Use the torque values and procedures in a factory or Bentley service manual for your car.
