EMPI Chrome Steel 60° Lug Nuts — M12x1.5 or M14x1.5
Short answer: EMPI chrome steel lug nuts with a 60° cone seat, for wheels mounted on studs. 70-2870-0 is five M12x1.5 nuts (one wide-five wheel on M12 studs); 70-2872-0 is four M14x1.5 nuts (one 4-lug wheel on M14 studs). Use them with 60° cone-seat wheels only. Stock VW hubs use bolts, so these apply after a stud conversion.
Part numbers: EMPI 70-2870-0 / 7028700 (M12, 5) · 70-2872-0 / 7028720 (M14, 4)

Why It Matters
Once a VW is converted to studs, the nut seat must match the wheel just as a bolt would. These chrome steel nuts are EMPI's 60° option for cone-seat aftermarket wheels; one set does one wheel.
Install Notes
- Start by hand, tighten in a star pattern, torque to the wheel maker's spec.
- Re-check after 50 miles.
