VW Beetle Carbon Fiber Eyebrow Deck Lid
Short answer: This is a rare, hand-made full carbon fiber deck lid (engine lid) for the VW Beetle, with a molded center scoop and twin “eyebrow” side inlets. It replaces your heavy steel deck lid at a fraction of the weight and is hand-built to order locally in Southern California, made in the USA.
Rare, hand-made and exclusive. This isn't a mass-produced part pulled off a warehouse shelf. Each eyebrow deck lid is hand-laid in carbon fiber, one at a time, and only after it's ordered. That's why you'll rarely see one on the street or at a show, and why the car wearing one stands apart from everything else in the lot.
Hand-made to order: please allow 2–3 weeks construction time. Your lid is laid up for you after your order is placed, so it ships when it's built right, not before.
A stock steel Beetle deck lid is one of the heaviest single panels hanging off the back of the car. This one is real carbon fiber all the way through, not a carbon skin over fiberglass, so it cuts that weight dramatically while staying stiff enough to hold its shape at speed. The raised scoop and eyebrow inlets feed air to the engine bay, and the deep-gloss weave is the kind of finish people walk across a car show to look at.
Carbon fiber deck lid features
- Rare and exclusive: hand-made one at a time, only to order, never mass-produced

- Show-quality finish: tight, consistent carbon weave under a deep clear gloss
- Functional eyebrow scoop: molded center scoop plus twin side inlets to move air into the engine bay
- Made in USA: hand-built locally in Southern California
