Vintage Speed
Vintage Speed is a Taiwanese manufacturer of precision-machined parts for air-cooled Volkswagens. It makes many of the shifters, carburetor linkages and engine dress-up parts sold by King Performance, and Washburn's Metal carries the line with full specs, part numbers and fitment on every listing.
Vintage Speed parts we carry
- Quick shifters: Classic 12" and 14", Black Mamba Clubsport and Schwarz, and the limited-run Elizabeth for Beetle, Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia and Type 3, plus Split Window, Bay Window and pre-1960 Barndoor Bus shifters.
- Best Linkage: quick-release carburetor linkage for Weber IDF, IDA, ICT, DCNF, Dellorto DRLA and Kadron. There are versions for stock fan housings, Porsche and Bergmann cooling fans, Type 4 engines and Type 1 engines in a Type 3. Each listing includes a chart to help you pick the right one.
