VW Bus Wheels: Split & Bay Window

VW Bus wheels come in two patterns, split by model year. Every Split Bus (1950–67) and the 1968–70 early Bay Window Bus use 5x205 wide-five with M14x1.5 lug bolts. The 1971–79 Bay Window Bus uses 5x112 with M14x1.5 studs and 19 mm nuts. This collection has the wheels we stock that list Bus fitment in those patterns: EMPI BRM, Cosmo, dish, Sprintstar, rib, 5-rib, GT-5, GTV II, Raider and steel smoothie wheels, EMPI 911-style (Fuchs-look) sets and packages, Mobelwagen Vintage 190 alloys, and the Bay Window Bus wheel set of four in 15x5.5 or 17x7.

A Bus is heavy, so we recommend the same width on all four corners and Load Range C or D tires. Many wide-five wheels here are also sold for Beetles, so check each listing for the lug thread, seat type and any published load rating before you order for a Bus. Pre-1971 Buses need a tall center cap to clear the rear axle nut.
