Classic VW Beetle Wheels (1949–79)

Classic VW Beetle wheels come in two bolt patterns, and the model year decides which. Beetles through 1967 are 5x205 wide-five. 1968–79 Beetles and every Super Beetle are 4x130 four-lug. This collection has the wheels we stock for both: EMPI BRM, Sprintstar, GT-8, GT-5, Cosmo, dish, rib, Riviera, Raider, Torque Star, GTV II and steel smoothie wheels, EMPI 911-style alloys and Mobelwagen Vintage 190 alloys, plus sets of four and mounted wheel and tire packages on Yokohama GT Special Classic radials.

Many wheels are listed in more than one pattern, so pick the variant that matches your car. For the Cal-Look stance, staggered sets pair narrow fronts with wider rears, such as the Sprintstar set with 15x5 fronts and 15x8 rears. Most EMPI alloys take 60° cone-seat bolts, M12x1.5 on wide-five Beetles and M14x1.5 on 4-lug Beetles. The seat type is on every listing, and lug hardware is sold separately. Porsche 5x130 wheels need an adapter on any Beetle.
