Why It Matters
A front hub that growls at speed and feels notchy by hand is usually the outer wheel bearing giving up. A new bearing returns the hub to smooth, quiet rotation and takes proper preload when you repack the spindle.
Installation Notes
- Set the bearing preload when you repack the spindle.
