Why it matters
Unlike flimsy modern reproductions, the original heavy-gauge steel core offers superior rigidity for the brake shoes to press against, helping prevent a spongy pedal feel. Each plate is checked for warping, elongated bolt holes and heavy pitting, then powder coated in a finish that resists brake fluid, road salt and heat far better than standard spray paint. The square adjuster bosses help the adjusters stay seated during maintenance.
Installation notes
- Clean threads and mounting surfaces mean it is ready to bolt on.
