Most seat-mount setups put bolts through the pan. The plug-weld bracket design keeps the underside of your chassis clean, with no bolt heads poking through the floor.
Installation Notes
- Bolt the brackets to your PRP rails.
- Set your seat in the preferred location.
- Plug weld the brackets to the pan through the holes provided.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I mount PRP seat rails to a flat buggy pan? Bolt the CH18 brackets to your PRP rails, set the seat where you want it, then plug weld the brackets to the pan through the holes provided.
- Are seat rails included? No. The brackets are made to mount PRP rails, but the rails themselves are sold separately.
- How many seat mount brackets come in a set? Four brackets total, and the set comes with hardware.
- How do they mount without bolts through the pan? The brackets have holes so you can plug weld them to your pans, leaving the underside of the chassis clean.
- Does this fit a 1967 VW Beetle? Not as a stock fit. They are made for flat, fully custom buggy pans using PRP seat rails.
- What is the part number? Washburn's Metal CH18, made in Orange, California.
