Why It Matters
The factory clamp is what keeps the 12-volt battery from moving in its stock location. A rusted, bent or missing clamp leaves the battery loose; this weld-in clamp mounts solidly to the chassis as a direct replacement.
Installation Notes
It welds in at the stock battery location on the Type 1 chassis.
This part is designed and fabricated in-house at our Orange, California shop rather than sourced from an overseas catalog supplier, so we control the material, the tolerances and the finish start to finish. If you run into a fitment question specific to your build (shortened chassis, buggy conversion, non-stock transaxle, etc.), contact us before installing and we can walk through it with you.
