Mobelwagen 430 Race Interceptor Wheel — 15x4.5, 4x130, Satin Gunmetal
Short answer: The Mobelwagen 430 Race Interceptor (MWR-430G-54530-25) is a 15x4.5 +25mm, 4x130 A356 cast aluminum wheel in satin gunmetal with the VW 10-window design and raised bead humps for better tire retention. The dealer lists it as Class 11 legal and under 15 lb. It fits 4x130 cars: 1968–1979 VW Beetle, 1971–1979 Super Beetle, 1967–1974 Karmann Ghia, 1966–1973 Type 3 and 1970–1976 Porsche 914. 60° conical-seat lug hardware required.
Availability: Special order — ships from our Mobelwagen distributor; we confirm the ship date after you order. These wheels are not stocked on our shelf; every order is placed with the distributor after you check out.
Part numbers: Mobelwagen MWR-430G-54530-25 (also printed MWR-430G-54530+25). Not the same part as the gunmetal 430 Interceptor MW-430G-54530-25X.
The "MWR" race version uses the same 10-window look as the street 430 Interceptor but adds increased bead humps; the dealer says they give a stronger tire bead and remove the need for inner tubes.

Why It Matters
Off-road and Class 11 racing are hard on the tire bead. The race version adds bead humps so the tire stays seated at low pressure, which is why this wheel has its own part number.
Like the street 430, it is drilled for 60° conical-seat bolts. Using stock VW ball-seat bolts on it is unsafe.
Install Notes
- Confirm a 4x130 pattern before ordering.
- Test-fit front and rear before mounting tires.
- Use 60° conical-seat M14x1.5 lug bolts; torque in a star pattern and re-check after the first 50 miles.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this wheel in stock? Special order — ships from our Mobelwagen distributor; we confirm the ship date after you order. It is not on our shelf, so we order it from the distributor after you check out and email you the ship date.
- What is the difference between the MWR-430G and the MW-430G? The MWR-430G is the race version with increased bead humps and Class 11 legality; the MW-430G-54530-25X is the street 430 Interceptor in gunmetal.
- Is the 430 Race Interceptor Class 11 legal? The dealer lists it as Class 11 legal for most series, including SCORE. Check your own series rules.
- What lug hardware does it need? Must use 60° conical-seat hardware — on a 4x130 VW that is an M14x1.5 60° lug bolt such as EMPI 00-9712-0.
- Does it fit a Porsche 914? The dealer lists it for 4x130 VW and the Porsche 914 (914-4, 1970–1976). The 914-6 is 5x130 and does not fit.
- Can I buy a set of 4? Yes. Choose "Set of 4" in the Quantity option. Orders of $250 or more ship free in the Lower 48, so a set ships free; orders under $250 pay shipping at checkout.
